Vintage 1940s glass dress clips. These dress clips features bright red and gold birds sitting on a tree branch. The bird have been moulded into the back of the piece and hand painted, this design is called reverse painting.

These beautiful dress clips are rare in design and style. They can be fastened around the neckline or lapels on a dress, coat or jumper. They can used to hold a scarf in place and gather the folds of a Grecian-style dress. Dress clips are very versatile and are excellent on thinner fabric compared to brooches.
